With a tradition of 17 years, Jeunesses International Music Competition is one of jmEvents.ro successful programs. It discovers and promotes young talents, combining competition with master-class and classical music concerts for worldwide fans.
The competition, which takes place annually since 1993, has alternative disciplines: violin, flute, clarinet, piano and composition. The contest is unique due to its 4 age categories: from the youngest, 5 to 6 years old, to the master category of an international contest, 18 to 30 years old.
The jury is an international one, made up of performers and professors, the field’s renowned experts, with a wide experience in acknowledging and educating new talents of the classical music world.
Year by year, the event takes on a wider visibility, at the moment the competition reuniting over 200 musicians from 35-40 countries.
Each year we set out to overstep the bounds and to offer more to young musicians, by acknowledging their talent and efforts. Therefore, we are organizing free master-classes for contestants, leaded by the jury members.
