PROMS – Jazz & Classic presents a new music concept, a melange between jazz and classic artists who perform together musical pieces especially created for them, a fusion jazz-classic, approaching well known themes from the international jazz, pop, blues, classic and screen music repertoire.
The innovative product of PROMS Crossover Tour – Jazz & Classic, organised by jmEvents, comes in front through its originality but also through its European dimension. The event takes place in 5 countries: France, Germany, Italy, Moldova and Romania, between December 2010 and May 2012.
PROMS concept was considered a success in all the countries it has been implemented so far. The 2008 - 2009 tour introduced over 25 concerts in 7 countries: France, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece and Romania, concerts performed in front of an enthusiastic audience, which received the musicians with loud applauses and „encore” shouts.
PROMS events are so colourful, that they immediately become very attractive for the audience, regardless their age, education or music preferences.
According to Luigi Gageos, the event's Director, PROMS concert brings “music for soul, mind and spirit, in a more urban, refined style”.
