Each year, the prize-winners of the Jeunesses International Music Competition – violin, flute, clarinet and piano – hold a series of exceptional concerts in Bucharest and other 8-10 cities in Romania.
Starting 2008, the Tour included European destinations.
Musicians that are invited to perform are from the country and abroad.
Characterized by the exuberance of youth, the concerts take place on traditional and unconventional scenes, offering the large public the proof of excellence through music.
The concerts’ repertoire includes internationally works, appreciated by the large public – diversity, expressiveness, modernism, variety of rhythms and styles, refined interpretation and spectacular, these are just a few features of the programme the organizers prepare each year.
The Prize-winners Tour is more than a series of concerts. By now, it has taken the proportions of a cultural and social event – the organizers’ desire is, on one side, to encourage young talents, and on the other, to bring classical music closer to young people who wish to discover it. Moreover, the event represents a unique experience for participants, on the common background of their passion for music.
The Prize-winners’ Tour evenings are an open cultural dialogue, interactive, that gives the musicians the possibility to keep a direct contact with the Romanian and the European public.
