» Violin Competition 2012
With a tradition of 19 years, Jeunesses International Music Competition is one of jmEvents successful programs. It discovers and promotes young talents, combining competition with master-class and classical music concerts for worldwide fans.

The competition takes place annually since 1994 for different disciplines:
- violin competition
- flute competition
- clarinet competition
- piano competition
- composition competition

The contest is unique due to its 4 age categories: from the youngest, 5 to 6 years old, to the master category of an international contest, 18 to 30 years old. The 2012 Jeunesses International Music Competition will be the violin competition which has 3 age categories up to 30.

The competition jury is international, made up of performers and professors, the field’s renowned experts, with a wide experience in acknowledging and educating new talents of the classical music world.

Year by year, the event takes on a wider visibility, at the moment the competition reuniting over 200 musicians from 35-40 countries.

Each year we set out to overstep the bounds and to offer more to young musicians, by acknowledging their talent and efforts. Therefore, we are organizing master-classes for contestants, leaded by the jury members.

“I like the idea of Jeunesses Musicales because it makes music accessible to children, allowing young people of modest origins to enter into a Realm that otherwise wouldn’t really be open to them”
(Geneve, 1950 )
